According to the Canadian Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) notice, the Hearing Aid Compatibility and Volume Control Standard (RSS-HAC, 2nd edition) has the new implementation date.
Manufacturers should ensure that all wireless devices that comply with the standards meet the requirements of the Hearing Aid Compatibility and Volume Control Standard (RSS-HAC, 2nd edition) by January 1, 2026.
