Canadian IC ID registration fee is about to increase

The October 2024 workshop mentioned the ISED fee forecast, stating that the Canadian IC ID registration fee will rise again and will be implemented from April 1, 2025, with an expected increase of 2.7%. Wireless RF products and telecom/Terminal products (for CS-03 products) sold in Canada must pass IC certification. Therefore, the increase in IC ID registration fees in Canada has an impact on such products.
The Canadian IC ID registration fee seems to be increasing every year, and the following is the recent price increase process:
1. September 2023: The fee will be adjusted from $50 per HVIN (model) to only one fee regardless of the number of models; 
New registration application: $750;
Change request registration: $375.
Change request: C1PC, C2PC, C3PC, C4PC, multiple listing.
2. Rising by 4.4% in April 2024; 
New registration application: The fee has increased from $750 to $783;
Change application registration: The fee has increased from $375 to $391.5.
It is now predicted that there will be another 2.7% increase in April 2025. 
New registration application: The fee will increase from $783 to $804.14;
Change application registration: The fee will increase from $391.5 to $402.07.

In addition, if the applicant is a local Canadian company, the registration fee for Canadian IC ID will incur additional taxes.
