At the end of March 2024, Indonesia's SDPPI issued several new regulations that will bring changes to the certification standards of SDPPI. Please review the summary of each new regulation below.
1.PERMEN KOMINFO NO 3 TAHUN 2024
This regulation is the basic specification for SDPPI certification and will come into effect on May 23, 2024. It includes the following important information:
1.1 Regarding the acceptance date of the report:
The report must come from a laboratory recognized by SDPPI, and the report date must be within 5 years before the certificate application date.
1.2 Label requirements:
The label needs to include the following information: certificate number and PEG ID; QR code; Warning signs (previously only SRD specification devices did not require warning signs, but now all products are mandatory);
The label should be affixed to the product and its packaging. If the product is too small, the label can only be affixed to the packaging.
1.3 The possibility of introducing a series of certifications:
If the products have the same RF specifications, brand and model, and the transmission power is less than 10mW, they can be included in the series certification scope. Please note that if the country of origin (CoO) is different, a separate certificate is still required.
