Indonesia SDPPI releases new regulations

Indonesia's SDPPI has recently issued two new regulations: KOMINFO Resolution 601 of 2023 and KOMINFO Resolution 05 of 2024. These regulations correspond to antenna and non cellular LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) devices, respectively.
1. Antenna Standards (KOMINFO Resolution No. 601 of 2023)
This regulation outlines the technical standards for various antennas, including base station antennas, microwave link antennas, wireless local area network (RLAN) antennas, and broadband wireless access antennas. The specified technical standards or test parameters include operating frequency, standing wave ratio (VSWR), and gain.
2. LPWAN Device Specification (KOMINFO Resolution No. 05 of 2024)
This regulation requires that the radio frequency band of non cellular LPWAN devices must be permanently locked within the specific frequency band described in the regulation.
The regulatory content covers the following aspects: product configuration, power supply, non ionizing radiation, electrical safety, EMC, and radio frequency requirements within specific frequency bands (433.05-434.79MHz, 920-923MHz, and 2400-2483.5MHz), filter requirements, and testing methods.
